One of my favorite pattern designers and a dear friend, Kristi from  George + Ginger  asked if I’d help make this dress come to life so I happily obliged.  I will be honest, I was a little worried how much I’d love this dress but I fell in love!  It has shorts built into the dress- and useable pockets too, not the barely there ones and the length of the shorts is perfect!  Can we take a moment to appreciate the back of this dress too? The intricate strap detail adds a bit of interest to the dress and still has plenty of support in all the right places.   I, of course, had to add some Alyssa flair to the pictures. Hey y’all! Long time no see, I have had so much going on these past couple months, that I will work on sharing with you all. One event I want to highlight first is my high school graduation! Yay!  I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures and my self-drafted graduation dress!  A special thank you to Colonel Bredlow for officiating this ceremony!  It’s not a graduation without throwing you’re cap in the air right?! My friend, Luke, wasn’t sure what the point was, but was a good sport about the whole thing.  And here we have the Holy Grail, my graduation dress, made by me of course. I designed the dress and actually sewed it the beginning of senior year so it was one less thing to worry about as we got closer to actual graduation.    It has a silvery- glittery base and a lace overlay, on open back and is the perfect length! I have never been more proud of a dress I’ve made for myself.  Next up- turning my graduation gown into an actual gown because ...

Take a look at the newest pattern I tested for Kristi from  George and Ginger ! It’s a take on a wrap dress, without being a wrap dress lol! I’m trying to get more blog posts and I figured why not start sharing some more inventory I have made recently!  These are the Heidi Fold- Over Clutch, I have two different sizes: Large (11” wide x 8” tall) and Small (9” wide x 6.5” tall).  Some have a detachable wrist strap, so you have an option to use or take off!  Most also have a hidden zippered back pocket, along with the main zippered clutch part!  I have many for fandoms, characters, bands, etc!
