Feeling some 70's vibe ~ peace, love, and hot pants

I given the opportunity to sew some strikes for  Momsters Fabrics . The denim patches are from them, and they are amazing. I feel like I need to get some extra to make all the purses!   The top fabric is actually from the Firefly round that  The Fabric Geeks  ran last summer, we are huge fans so have been hoarding it a bit, but it seemed the perfect accent for this look!  This is the soho bag, you can actually order it  here More detail shots of this beautiful bag, and details on this fabric. I love the details so much, looks like perfect denim.  This outfit made me want to get out my cruiser and go for a ride it all just felt so right together although my mom said I was missing the basket and banana seat.  I wish you peace, love and hot pants my friends! These hot pants are from George + Ginger and the top is the  Oasis Swim  by Ellie & Mac but I made it into a top because I LOVE it!  EMAIL       WEBSITE       FACEBOOK       INSTAGRAM

A leaf on the wind...

...watch how I soar.  Another version of the Mens Ryan raglan from  5 out of 4 . I made this one to show off the hood. It does have longer sleeve option and thumb hole option as well too.  The fit of this is amazing, well fitting but a relaxed fit as well.  Of course when making this for my dad I had to break into more of the firefly fabric we had because its perfect for it! This amazing round was run by  The Fabric Geeks FACEBOOK      INSTAGRAM      EMAIL      WEBSITE

First Men's Pattern Testing - The Man They Call Jayne

I got to do a great test for  5 out of 4  for the Ryan raglan. First pattern I have gotten to test for my dad. He is a HUGE firefly fan and was so happy to get this shirt.  I made him two I will share the second one later as well. This shirt though has so many options for sleeves, length and a hood. The fit is great, they care so much about testing and making sure the fit is perfect.  This fabric was a special rerun a few months ago from  The Fabric Geeks , though they are currently running a rerun round now FACEBOOK      INSTAGRAM      EMAIL      WEBSITE

Different Kind Of Fabrics

So the first fabrics are Firefly fabrics all made out of cotton. Thats a picture of all of them put together in one picture, now let me show a a picture of each piece of fabric close up. All of the main Firefly characters are on that piece of fabric. That is all of the Firefly tv show weaponry. Kaylee in the pink ruffled dress and her mechanic uniform with and without the parasol and strawberries. And the collection wouldn't be complete without the iconic Jayne Hat.  The next line of fabric is all my canvas fabric, which is a harder or more stiff fabric. That is the peace sign canvas. That is my patriotic red, white and blue canvas material. That is my flowery canvas. This like a canvas material but it feels kinda softer, if that makes sense.*laughs* So, how ya been? Im sure you've been terrific! And guess what, so have I! I'm honestly amazing. I'm living out my dreams at a young age, cause who says your too

Hi! So I just got my pictures taken yesterday. For the website, some of me doin my thing 😆 Working on some sketches. Laying out some pattern pieces for another design, that I've been working on. I made my mom a Firefly purse. She  LOVES  it!!! In my house we are huge Firefly fans. My parents watched it and then I got really into the show. We have the game and all the game board extensions. Have you ever played the game? If you have it is so amazing right? If you haven't  then you totally should if you are a fan. I'm in love with the game. Who's your favorite character from the show? In our house its Kaylee, hands down!  I also updated my website   Fashionista Dreams . And there is a new post on   Facebook   and  Instagram .    U ntil next time! XOXO
