Fabriculous accessories, cup panels, and amazing scrap busting projects

The very first set of strikes I got from  Fabriculous . I was feeling a bit extra and went with a huge bow and headbands, because you can never have to many headbands! They are like hair ties they magically disappear when you aren't looking.  I got this tumbler panel in a strict pack with a see what you can do with it note, I thought about a pocket cause thats a super easy way to use them, but thats not really fun, or creative. So instead I drafted a wallet, I am not sure a wallet is more fun, but it was fun creating the pattern for it. I looked at several tutorials but none were completely what I wanted so here we are 😁 During this same round, A hat pattern had just come ut and I really wanted to make one for myself, It is not perfect but I love it so much. I have made several since.  The lace look I used on the hat was perfect for this wristlet too. Fabricuouls has really gotten my out of my comfort zone and pushed me in new d...

Dean loves his fab skulls!

When I saw this round I knew one thing was for sure, Dean needed something!  The colors and style is something he gravitates towards when picking out things and as a bonus I can make it to fit him! I let him look and pick out his favorites. He LOVED these skulls as soon as he saw them. He really wanted to just do the dark but I told him he needed a little bit of color for contrast, and he of course listens to me.  I think the combination he picked worked great. It always makes me so happy when he enjoys the things I make for him.

Dean is Fabriculous too!

I share a lot of pictures of things I have made my sister or myself, I don't get to make things for my brother nearly as much. Which is another reason why I love  Fabriculous . Mandi always runs huge rounds, with lots of colors and options. Dean gets so excited when fabric comes from them, because he knows I am going to make him something.  These autobot were from the first round I did on the seam team, I was so excited to get to choose fabrics, bases, quantity I needed.  Let me tell you a little secret, we have never seen how to train your dragon, really. We have watched some of the show and parts of the movies but never really sat down and watched all of it. However he is all about dragons and Dinos so he was super excited about this one.  I love making him matching sets! He gets so excited over them, and every day he wears them he comes running out to show me that he's wearing a whole outfit I made him!  He is so goof...

Kaylee is going to all the amazing places with the Cat in the Hat!

The  So Sweet Sweater  by candy castle with out the sleeves added on is one of my favorite tops for my sister.  Its not exactly short sleeves, but its its perfect for Hawaii winter when its not really cold cold, but breezy.  She loves the cowl, hiding part of her face, more than hoods even I think.  The fabric from  Fabriculous  was perfect for it. I love that even though this is a coordinate it can really stand alone as the focal point as well, I think this pattern demonstrates that really well, with out being a basic boring tee. Kaylee is anything but basic and boring!

You're off to great places, Today is your day!

Fabriculous  has started having these awesome growth charts! It is printed on canvas, with space where you could write in the ages and names of children.  My mom is super excited about these because we are a military family and these can come with us on all of our moves and she doesn't have to lose that record.  I embroidered a red, blue and yellow fish on it because well it fits the theme perfectly and added our names too.  This is one of the many styles, she's been doing them the last few rounds,  if you are interested in one  like this or in a different style or having names added to it like this just let me know
