Cooking up something delicious with Elephant House

My brother has some big dreams too, he loves to cook and wants to be a Chef. He had this great hat already but he didn't have a coat yet, so of course I made him one when this awesome Ratatouille fabric ran a few months back.  If you have been following my blog than this is a trip down memory lane with me lol, if you are new look I made a Chefs coat! ....also a soho bag and a reusable shopping bag, but the coat was the star of the show this round for me.  This is the little soho I made, I got some vegetable fabric from Walmart to line it and accent the design.  I helped my brother Dean shop for the meals he made in the photoshoot for this round, and it was the perfect time to show off and test out my reusable shopping bag!

Ratatouille anyone?

This amazing inspired round is still going on over at  Elephant House Fabrics . I got to sew up some of the Ratatouille inspired fabric, I am for sure gonna order some of the Mickey and Minnie for a dress for my little sister. She out grew on of her favorites.  This is a mini soho bag that I made with the Ratatouille fabric on the outside and a vegetable fabric on the inside. I thought they looked so cute together and seemed to go from whats in the dish 😁 This is one of my favorite style of bags! Its not super big but large enough to carry everything you need with some space. You can get this one  HERE .          Next I did a little shopping with this reusable shopping bag I made with the adorable print for the dinner and dessert my brother made us. I will be listing reusable shopping bags up on my site here in the very near future. I have been perfecting my size and construction. Here in Hawaii, and I know other places...

Chef Dean - Dinner, Dessert, & A Fashion Shoot

My little brother loves to cook! He has found his passion for creating with food early. So when  Elephant House Fabrics  came out with this design I knew he needed a chefs coat!  The patterns is from  Rebecca Page  with some modifications. He LOVES it! He really wants his own cooking show, so set up a mock studio and took some pictures of him to get him ready.  I mean he looks ready for the big time don't you think?! The woven fabric from  Elephant House  is so soft and light weight, while being top quality and not see through. It washes up great and is perfection to sew with.  My brother made us an amazing dinner, ravioli lasagna it was so good its one of his favorite dishes to make.  He is a very serious chef lol. He made some great double fudge brownies for dessert that night too. He didn't really want to share lol  This Ratatouille fabric is on preorder currently along with a bunc...
