Fashionista Dreams

This panel is one of my favorites from the current Space & Science round over at  Royal Pixie . Taking pictures of my sister in her new pj's and she told me she had the perfect pose, and she was right! I loved it!  Kaylee loves the stars, space and reading, so of course I made another reading pillow and several styles of bookmarks. She was a bit bummed when I said they weren't for her to keep.  This planet fabric and the galaxy print both look so great on book marks, they will be a part of our read across America promotion starting later this month.                                                                                                    There are still a few days if you would like ...

The very first set of strikes I got from  Fabriculous . I was feeling a bit extra and went with a huge bow and headbands, because you can never have to many headbands! They are like hair ties they magically disappear when you aren't looking.  I got this tumbler panel in a strict pack with a see what you can do with it note, I thought about a pocket cause thats a super easy way to use them, but thats not really fun, or creative. So instead I drafted a wallet, I am not sure a wallet is more fun, but it was fun creating the pattern for it. I looked at several tutorials but none were completely what I wanted so here we are 😁 During this same round, A hat pattern had just come ut and I really wanted to make one for myself, It is not perfect but I love it so much. I had so much fun learning to make bookmarks. They seemed a really fitting idea to go with the theme for this round over at  Fabriculous . I made 2 styles here, the wrap style and a more standard between the pages style.  Nothing makes you feel as carefree as reading Dr. Seuss, there are no rules, no limits to what can be in the land of Seuss, whats not to love with that idea? Your imagination can soar into a land that is silly, funny, and often more educational than you realize!  I learned so much from these books, location doesn't change the taste of food, but trying new things opens up new favorites, and a good friend will annoy you until you break out of your shell That the people who matter will accept you and love you for who you are, the ones that don't, well they don't matter.  That we only have one earth and we need to take better care of it, because if we don't start to care, well who will?  That re...

Another of the amazing reading pillow, only in action this time. I do believe they want to keep it!  I am really loving all the fabric this round, I am going to be ordering so much to make more reading pillows and book marks!  My brother and sister both really enjoyed getting to read for pictures this time too lol.  Some of the great color ways from this round that would be perfect for reading pillows! 

 The  So Sweet Sweater  by candy castle with out the sleeves added on is one of my favorite tops for my sister.  Its not exactly short sleeves, but its its perfect for Hawaii winter when its not really cold cold, but breezy.  She loves the cowl, hiding part of her face, more than hoods even I think.  The fabric from  Fabriculous  was perfect for it. I love that even though this is a coordinate it can really stand alone as the focal point as well, I think this pattern demonstrates that really well, with out being a basic boring tee.
