Masters of the Universe Keychain Sets

In today’s blog post, I am going to be showing you the Masters of the Universe Keychain Sets. These are sets of three; one Shera, one Heman and one Skeletor.                        This is the entire set, as you can see, they fit all the 1980s cartoon nostalgia vibes.  This is the Heman/Adam keychain, they are all lined on the back and the key ring is detachable if you wish to take the key ring off.                                                                                  Shera                                                                 ...

Plait Dress

Take a look at the newest pattern I tested for Kristi from  George and Ginger ! It’s a take on a wrap dress, without being a wrap dress lol! It has this gorgeous braided detail around the neck.   The back is pretty plain looking, but isn’t it stunning in this fabric combination?  The top pictures are with a cami for modesty purposes, the pattern does not have a modesty panel option built in but here is what the dress looks like without the camisole.  You can find more on my social medias like my  Instagram ,  Facebook page ,  Pinterest  and my  Facebook group- FD CLOTHING AND SALES !  And for all my sewing friends, you can purchase the pattern  here

Italy Trip

Hey y’all! Sorry for not posting a whole lot. Recently I took a  trip to Italy and went on a social media break, which was  extremely nice. However I’m back and going to try to start posting more blogs (hopefully 🤞)  This is was in Milan, it’s the Iconic Duomo Cathedral. It is stunning, especially at night.  This picture was taken on my birthday. I walked around the Milan Fashion District and was able to go into Moschino and Chanel! This was a huge day for me, I bought the Moschino perfume with my money, however me and my dad (thank you Dad) went halfsies on the Chanel sunglasses I liked!   Venice was beautiful, I actually went on a Gondola ride however, I wasn’t a huge fan personally but it was very very pretty.  Adriatic Sea, the sand was so fine and the water was a little cold but I can say I stood in the Adriatic Sea.  I got to see The David Statue, it was huge! There were so many people trying to get a good picture of it.  Leaning tower of P...

Fabriculous Ice Meets George + Ginger

One of the prints I have absolutely fallen in love with is the Ice. I have yet to see it in a color that I didn't think was amazing! My mom and I tested the Mix it up collection from  George + Ginger , so of course we had to take a few photos together, and we used  Fabriculous  Ice, it gave the look a bit more flash and fancy feel.  But not too fancy... 🤣 Now this was all the way fancy! Used the Ice to make my mom this fantastic mash up of patterns ball gown. She got a lot of compliments on the color and design especially, it was an artillery ball and red is their thing.  The thing I love most about the ice design is it looks sparkly with out the headache of sewing sequins and gems or anything on it to give that effect. It is just another element of dimension and I love that in fabric.  All of the ice in this blog is cotton lycra, though they have run it in other bases too. I just really love the structure of their...

Rainbow Soho

I love these bright colorful Mickey heads from  Royal Pixie Fabric . They are so cheerful and bright. They have so many color ways in the current round, along with a design your own but this bright rainbow color way went with this rainbow fabric so nicely making a great little soho.  You might have noticed this is one of my favorite little bags to make. It is such a great size and I have yet to see a fabric on it that didn't look amazing! It is perfect for showing off that favorite fandom, sometime a little more subtitling than other times 🙂 I think these Mickey heads are perfect has a more subtle accent. a touch of it vs all in your face. More my style anyway lol.

My second Little Ragamuffins Firecracker

I went a little fancy with this version of the newly released  Firecracker . This is bamboo lycra from last year, its from  DiCarpo Designs , which happens to be on the big island, a bonus for me 😉 Same top, she just liked the cross over in the front more than the back so we took pictures both ways. This is the shirt length.   Again the line chart for the different styles. I can not wait to show you how extra this dress can really be! Few more days

Sewing is my Super Power

This preorder over at  The Fabric Geeks   is incredible.  I wanted to do something fun and a little different with this panel. I love what it says, sewing really does feel like a super power sometimes. I had a lot of fun making this one and it really fits my personal style.  I started with the new  Hepburn  from Patterns for Pirates, went sleeveless, figured out about where I wanted this to end on me and sewed it all up, then added the slits and and crossed them over. I know this might not be everyones test but its a really fun crop style top for me.  They have a lot of other great designs going on this round as well. If you are interested in me sewing you something up with these fabrics please message me by September 5th so I have time to place my order.  EMAIL       WEBSITE        FACEBOOK       INSTAGRAM

It is never to early to plan Holiday pj's - October Tea

Every December we do a family activity each night, sometimes its a hot cocoa bar, or watching a holiday movie, sibling gifts, and always a sibling sleepover in front of the Christmas tree. As soon as I saw these adorable penguins I knew they needed to be our pj's for the sleep over.  They are up for preorder over at  October Tea , she has dragons ins a similar style of art as well as hot cocoa, I am personally debating ordering my brother penguins so we are extra match or ordering him some dragons 🤔 My sister is wearing the  Sugar & Spice  pj's, I do modify everything for her a little bit. I am rocking the  FREE Pegs . They honestly are my go to for leggings I did add the cuff at the bottom myself to coordinate with her more 😁 The Shoes are from  Menta Sewing Group , these are the ones listed on my website as well. They have the tough tech bottoms to make them outdoor ready to go not really slippers.  EMAIL ...

She was so excited when she saw this fabric come in as strikes, she knew it was for her, really though so much of it turns out to be for her!  These sweet sleepy unicorns are part of a preorder ending soon over at  Lily Rose . She was so excited to get to have her unicorn Glitter Sparkle in some of her pictures. Her new favorite romper!  EMAIL       WEBSITE        FACEBOOK        INSTAGRAM
