Cooking up something delicious with Elephant House

My brother has some big dreams too, he loves to cook and wants to be a Chef. He had this great hat already but he didn't have a coat yet, so of course I made him one when this awesome Ratatouille fabric ran a few months back.  If you have been following my blog than this is a trip down memory lane with me lol, if you are new look I made a Chefs coat! ....also a soho bag and a reusable shopping bag, but the coat was the star of the show this round for me.  This is the little soho I made, I got some vegetable fabric from Walmart to line it and accent the design.  I helped my brother Dean shop for the meals he made in the photoshoot for this round, and it was the perfect time to show off and test out my reusable shopping bag!

Fabriculous Dragon Training

How to Train Your Dragon fabric is up for preorder over at  Fabriculous ! I made my little brother a mini dragon to train 💜 This adorable little dragon is the first thing I have ever really sewn by hand and its was so very different than with my machine. I made a little grumpy car for my grandfather once, but it was so different than this. The pattern has movement, and makes for a great gift, I am going to make a couple for my nephews birthday with the dragon scales. 💜 I love the scales so much, there is so much detail! This is the  Hudson Tank , new favorite! He loves it so much. The pockets and details are amazing!  These shorts from  Ellie & Mac  accented the fabric and the tank so perfectly. It is so rare I get to make him an outfit he doesn't want to take off! He loves training his dragons and taking them into battles to save his kingdom  EMAIL       WEBSITE       FACEBOOK   ...

Chef Dean - Dinner, Dessert, & A Fashion Shoot

My little brother loves to cook! He has found his passion for creating with food early. So when  Elephant House Fabrics  came out with this design I knew he needed a chefs coat!  The patterns is from  Rebecca Page  with some modifications. He LOVES it! He really wants his own cooking show, so set up a mock studio and took some pictures of him to get him ready.  I mean he looks ready for the big time don't you think?! The woven fabric from  Elephant House  is so soft and light weight, while being top quality and not see through. It washes up great and is perfection to sew with.  My brother made us an amazing dinner, ravioli lasagna it was so good its one of his favorite dishes to make.  He is a very serious chef lol. He made some great double fudge brownies for dessert that night too. He didn't really want to share lol  This Ratatouille fabric is on preorder currently along with a bunc...

Posy Pleated Pants!

These Posy Pleated Pants are amazing! This was part of a pattern testing with  Rebecca Page .  Pattern testing is one of my favorite things, the behind the scenes look at how patterns are created, and how adjustments get made so its flattering for a wide range of sizes. Its exciting to be a part of!  These pants come in 2 lengths, full and three quarter length. Both styles are shown here.  They feature back darts and an elastic waist band for a flattering fit and look.  Posy Pants Front pleats create these beautiful lines for a great finished look, the belt loops and sash are optional, they were perfect for the beach look we were going for here.  The size range for these is newborn up to women's 5XL, 18 inch doll size as well! These are perfect for beach days, or business days. Depending on the style you choose they can have a very causal feel or be office ready.  Interested in ordering ordering a pair plea...
