One of my favorite pattern designers and a dear friend, Kristi from  George + Ginger  asked if I’d help make this dress come to life so I happily obliged.  I will be honest, I was a little worried how much I’d love this dress but I fell in love!  It has shorts built into the dress- and useable pockets too, not the barely there ones and the length of the shorts is perfect!  Can we take a moment to appreciate the back of this dress too? The intricate strap detail adds a bit of interest to the dress and still has plenty of support in all the right places.   I, of course, had to add some Alyssa flair to the pictures.
